Female voices floating above beats of the kettledrum and guitar sounds. Vibrant electric organs merging with prankish flutes. Quiet parts and loud brouhahas taking turns, gentle melodies making way for dramatic tapestries of sound. Over and over again it is one simple melody wooing the listener adamantly but amiably.
h e y m o o n sometimes sounds as grave as rain clouds, sometimes as light as a feather. «In the blue hour», so the band, «longing, melancholy and felicity are fusing and have an euphoriant effect.»

The foundation of h e y m o o n is laid in summer 2014. There’s a band name, some whizzing melodies and some lines of lyric. It quickly becomes clear: it won’t work well being only two of us. So Eva and Raffa start looking for further band members. Soon after Valentin takes over the percussion and Lara complements the band on vocals. In 2016 the EP Blue Hour Serenade is released.
Gradually the desire for new tones grows. The basic idea is: more bass, more keyboard, more voice. At the beginning of the year 2018 another lucky strike brings Ana to h e y m o o n. Concerts, recordings and video shoots follow.
In the summer of 2020 Lara quits the band. h e y m o o n decides to continue in a group of four.
